During my education I completed clinical placements in Kitchener-Waterloo, ON and Moncton, NB. Following my graduation in 2013 I worked for 5 years at the IWK Community Midwives in Halifax, Nova Scotia before taking a position with the Fredericton Midwifery Centre in 2017 as a part of the team implementing the first midwifery program in New Brunswick. It has been wonderful to be able to finally support families in New Brunswick through their pregnancy, birth and post-partum experiences, and I especially enjoy providing postpartum home visits and breastfeeding support. Brittany earned a Bachelor of Arts with honours from St. Thomas University and worked at the Fredericton Sexual Assault Crisis Centre before moving to Vancouver, BC, to pursue a Bachelor of Midwifery. During her midwifery education, Brittany had the privilege of working with families in British Columbia and Uganda. After graduating, Brittany worked in New Westminster for a year before moving back home to join the Fredericton Midwifery Centre.
